A verified badge for your website
If your company has a MoldVerified profile backed by a current Florida mold license or an active IICRC or ACAC certification, you can show a badge on your own site. It names the credential we checked and the month we checked it, and it links to your profile so a homeowner can confirm it. It's free.
What the badge says
Example
- The credential we matched. A current Florida DBPR mold license shows as the license and its number. Without one, the badge names your active certification, such as IICRC AMRT. It never says “license” on the strength of a certification.
- “+1” and so on means we hold more current credentials for you than fit on the badge. Your profile lists all of them.
- The month of our latest check. It matches the month your profile shows as last checked.
A license leads when you have one, because Florida licenses mold assessors and remediators under Part XVI of Chapter 468, Florida Statutes. A certification is an industry credential. It's worth showing, but it isn't the state license, and the badge doesn't blur the two.
Add it to your site
- Find your company with the license lookup and open its profile.
- Your profile address ends in
/company/your-company-name. That last part is your slug. - Paste this where you want the badge, and replace both
YOUR-SLUGplaceholders with your slug:

Claim your listing too
The badge works whether or not you've claimed your profile. Claiming is how you fix a detail, add the services you offer, or tell us about a credential we're missing. Open your profile and use “Claim this listing,” and we'll review the request by hand.
Common questions
- Does the badge cost anything?
- No. The listing is free, and so is the badge. Placement on MoldVerified isn't for sale, and showing the badge doesn't change where your profile appears.
- Why does my badge say certification and not license?
- The badge names the credential we hold a current record for. If we've matched an active IICRC or ACAC certification but not a current Florida DBPR mold license, it says certification. If your license is current and missing from your profile, claim the listing and tell us the license number.
- What happens if my license or certification lapses?
- When a data refresh no longer shows a current license or active certification for your listing, the badge stops loading, usually within about two days. It comes back once the credential is current again. We don't leave an out-of-date claim on your site.
- Can I change the wording or save a copy of the image?
- Please don't. The badge is only accurate when it loads from MoldVerified, because that's how the check date and credential stay current. You can resize it.
- Does the badge mean MoldVerified recommends my company?
- No. It confirms a credential we have on file and the month we last checked it. It isn't a rating, a review, or a guarantee of anyone's work.
